    Airport Security Price List

    Below is the current price list for airport security services and tasks at Keflavík Airport. The price list applies to services that fall outside general regulations on airport charges or statutory duties of Keflavík Airport.

    Assistance by Airport Security Personnel

    • Airport Security Officer – ISK 7,900
    • Airport Security Officer with vehicle – ISK 12,800
    • Airport Security Vehicle – ISK 4,900
    • Call-out of Airport Security Officer – ISK 31,600

    *Minimum charge for assistance by an Airport Security Officer is 1 hour.

    Mobile X-ray Unit

    • Mobile X-ray Unit – hourly rate ISK 7,900
    • Mobile X-ray Unit – transport to Reykjavík (fixed) ISK 25,000Minimum

    *Charge for assistance by an Airport Security Officer is 1 hour.

    Access Permits

    • Individual Access Permit – ISK 9,900
    • Vehicle Access Permit – ISK 9,900
    • Non-returned Access Permit fee – ISK 9,900

    *Same fee applies for renewal of access permits, whether due to expiration, loss, or damage.
    **Fee is charged if an individual or vehicle access permit is not returned, whether expired, lost, or damaged – also charged if Isavia Pass Office has requested its return.

    Other Charges

    • Loaned equipment (return fee) – ISK 10,000
    • Late return fee for temporary permit from security control – ISK 10,000
    • Police background check – ISK 10,000 per application (valid up to 5 years)

    *Equipment may include flashing lights (mandatory for vehicles on the apron), vehicle markings (mandatory for apron vehicles), and other equipment authorized for loan by the Airport Security Department.

    Definitions

    Access Pass – Individual
    Card issued by the Pass Office granting an individual access to restricted and other controlled areas specified on the card. Includes name, validity period, access type, and company name.

    Access Pass – Vehicle
    Card issued by the Pass Office granting a vehicle access to restricted or controlled areas. Includes vehicle registration number and validity period.

    Police Background Check
    Detailed review of the applicant for an access pass. A positive background check is required for issuance of an access pass granting access to restricted areas at Keflavík Airport.

    Escort, Supervision, and/or Assistance by Airport Security Personnel
    The airport’s Airport Security Department offers services related to supervision, escorting guests and/or goods, screening, pat-downs, and other tasks requiring specialized training and knowledge. Hourly rates apply unless otherwise agreed.

    Airport Security Vehicle
    Vehicle operated by Airport Security required for supervision or assistance within restricted areas.

    Mobile X-ray Vehicle
    Specially equipped vehicle with X-ray screening equipment for detecting dangerous and/or prohibited items.
