Shelter from the Elements Coming Soon

Extensive construction is currently taking place in the airport’s approach area, where good facilities are important for everyone passing through. The ongoing developments focus, among other things, on improving conditions for pedestrians—especially between different areas around the terminal building.
A snow-melting system has been installed beneath the walkways in the area, which will make life easier for passengers, staff, and others on snowy days.
In addition, all main pedestrian routes in the area are being covered. In this phase, that includes walkways from the terminal building to stops for scheduled buses, other buses, and taxis, as well as to short-term parking at the arrivals area (P2) and long-term parking (P3).
Work on these developments is well advanced, and the first phase is expected to be completed in the coming autumn.
Further information about the covered walkways can be found here.
