Keflavík Airport (KEF) welcomed 874,964 visitors in June this year, which is a 1.6% increase compared to the same month last year.
A total of 25 airlines flew to 79 destinations in June. The most popular destinations were New York, London, Copenhagen, Paris, and Boston.
The busiest day at the airport was June 30th, when 34,590 visitors passed through KEF.

Departures of Icelanders in June totalled around 65,000, a 17% increase compared to June of last year.
According to the Icelandic Tourist Board, the departures of foreign passengers from the country totalled 212,000, a 9% decrease compared to June of last year. Most departures were from Americans (38%), followed by Germans (7%), British (5%), Poles (4%), and Canadians (4%).
