    Airport tour in celebration of Ljosanott

    In celebration of Ljósanótt, Keflavík Airport (KEF) offered a tour of the airport.

    Ljósanótt is a family and cultural festival celebrated annually in Reykjanesbær. Isavia, the operator for Keflavík Airport (KEF), has been one of the main sponsors of Ljósanótt over the years. KEF contributed to making Ljósanótt’s program as impressive as possible, by offering guests a tour of the airport on Thursday, September 5th.

    Guests had the opportunity to visit and explore various airport facilities, with special attention given to KEF’s artworks, and the diverse roles of the staff were presented. KEF continues to support ambitious efforts in various sectors of the Reykjanesbær community, allowing them to flourish and be appreciated.

    Anna Björk Bjarnadóttir, Director of Service and Operations at KEF, and Kjartan Már Kjartansson, Mayor of Reykjanesbær, signed a collaboration agreement between KEF and Reykjanesbær for Ljósanótt.

    Ljósanótt started on Thursday, September 5th, and ended on Sunday, September 8th. The festival was held for the 23rd time and featured concerts, exhibitions, and various gatherings throughout its celebration.
