Busier security screening on August 14

A significant number of passengers are expected to be at Keflavík Airport on the morning of Friday, August 14. Many of the visitors who have travelled to Iceland in recent weeks for the August 12 total solar eclipse are expected to be departing the country that day. As a result, passengers may experience longer-than-usual wait times at security screening. 

All security screening lanes at the airport will be open, and our staff will be on hand to assist passengers as much as possible.
