“It is always a pleasure to welcome new airlines to the KEF airport community, and I am confident that LOT will be a strong partner in the future and an important addition to KEF. By choosing us as a new destination, LOT has demonstrated their belief in Iceland as a destination,” Grétar added.

“The island reveals its stunning beauty year-round, offering something special in both summer and winter. It’s one of the few places on Earth where you can experience geysers, active volcanoes, glaciers, hot springs, and waterfalls all on the same island. The new route will also provide great convenience for the Polish community in Iceland, which is currently the largest national minority there. We wish all our passengers a smooth journey and unforgettable views of the aurora borealis,” says Robert Ludera, Director of Network Planning and Alliances at LOT Polish Airlines.
