One Step Closer to Completion

Construction on the interior of the south building in an area known as Stand 10 will be completed in early October. After that, staff training and adjustments will take place before the area opens to airport guests.

The South Building is located south of the old terminal, which is now often called the North Building. The building was opened in 2001 and expanded over a decade later to manage increased passenger numbers and improve the passenger experience. Construction began in January 2024 and includes an expansion of the building by 1,900 square meters.

The changes include major improvements for passengers, such as a larger waiting area, new departure gates, and an expanded restaurant and shopping area.
