By car
Keflavik Airport is about 40 minute drive from Reykjavik City Centre. Driving to and from KEF can be a convenient option.
Keflavik Airport is located on the Reykjanes peninsula about 40 kilometers from Reykjavík City Centre. There are some long term and short term parking options outsite the terminal building.
Comfort parking
Comfort parking is marked P1 and is positioned right outside the departure hall. It will only take you about 3-4 minutes to run from the car to the terminal building, we know it can be windy in Keflavik.
Standard parking
Standard parking is marked P3. P3 is our least expensive zone and is convenient for those who are going on longer trips.
Premium parking
Our Premium service is our nicest option. You park your car right outside the departure hall. You place your car keys in a key box inside the terminal building and when you return home your car will be waiting for you right where you left it.
Drop off
Short-term parking is suitable if you need to pick up or drop off a traveller. The first 15 minutes every 24 hours are free.
Remember, if you’re not using a car, you can also take a taxi or use airport transfers to get to your destination.
